About the Cabin:
Elk Country Cabin is situated on a .28 acre property, surrounded by mature Douglas Fir trees on a quiet cul-de-sac. The cabin sleeps 8, with two bedrooms and a loft. It is within walking distance of the community country club where you have access to the swimming pools in the summer, and to the golf course year round, for a nominal fee. Just steps away from the cabin is Gifford Pinchot National Forest, where there are hiking trails and within minutes you can find yourself at a lovely waterfall and beyond. The cabin is about 30 minutes from White Pass Ski Area, and 20 minutes from the Ohanapecosh entrance to Mt. Rainier National Park.

Packwood is located between Mt. Rainier, Mt. St. Helens, and Mt. Adams, and is adjacent to Gifford Pinchot National Forest. The area's recreational opportunities abound: hiking, hunting, fishing, biking, horseback riding, skiing/snowboarding, and snowmobiling, to name a few!
